My name is Bridget and I currently work as a fabricator. I prefer the term fabricator the most because it really sums up the generalist work I've been specializing in lately. Everything from sculpting, painting and welding to low voltage wiring and laminating. Its a great job for its versatility. Originally I graduated from art school in San Francisco with a bachelors in computer animation but a love for hands-on work led me away from the digital age. After graduating I did my time making puppets and sets for Cartoon Network stop motion shows Robot Chicken and Moral Orel then went on to making touring sets for bands then I made my way to scenery shops which do work for Disney, Universal Studios and high end museums and now I doing special effects work for Universal Studios and make monsters on the side. This blog is a small collection of some of my work. Hope you enjoy.
